The Municipality of Roblin invites applications for the position of a full-time term Admin Clerk in the Administration Office with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position; duties to commence as soon as possible.


Under the direction of the Chief Administrative Officer, the successful candidate will perform a variety of secretarial and clerical duties.   Therefore, this position requires a person that:

  • has well-developed interpersonal skills to deal effectively with the public
  • has excellent oral and written communication skills
  • has excellent organizational skills that include the ability to perform varied and multiple tasks within deadlines
  • has strong computer skills that include MS Office, especially Word and Excel, and internet usage, and
  • is self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and able to work well with others.

Roblin is situated in a very unique area with employment opportunities in farming, logging, nursing, home care, truck driving as well as retail and service.

The local Parkway Co-Op has recently constructed a new grocery store which is conveniently located next to their gas station.  Both locations often have various job openings, check out their link to see if something is the right fit for you: Parkway Co-Op.

The recent large expansion of a local pig barn East of Roblin has prompted the need for more full time employees. Please email Canmark Family Farming:    for more information or to send a resume.

Other potential employers, such as Wendell Estate Honey Farm, often use sights such as Workopolis, Monster and Indeed as well as the website of the Regional Employment Center  located in Russell, MB.  Check out the employment center's facebook page for other opportunities in the area.
