Formerly the Merridale School built in 1909, this building is currently undergoing a number of repairs and upgrades to save the original structure and make it a usable space for arts, education, recreation and celebration. Recently there has been a number of outdoor recreation events as well as family reunions, as the site offers plenty of parking for campers etc., as well as a ball diamond. The Community Centre is a million dollar facility that was constructed in 1995. This facility seats 700 comfortably, or up to 80 or 25 people in one of the two smaller conference rooms. The Hall offers a state-of-the-art climate control system, along with a spacious commercial kitchen and large stage complete with the latest in audio/video controls. The Community Centre was a community project that was made possible because of the efforts of many volunteers.
