Public Works Department

The Municipality of Roblin invites applications for a Public Works Supervisor – Rural Department with duties to commence as soon as possible.

Under the direction of the Public Works Manager, the successful candidates will be required to:

               · Undertake coordination of scheduling, redeployment, and training of Public Works employees to ensure effective coverage;

               · Provide on-site supervision and coordination within two primary regions of the Municipality;

               · Responsible for ensuring operational objectives are achieved through effective supervision, scheduling, coordination, and training of Public Works Employees;

               · Urban and Rural Supervisors will work as a supervisory team to coordinate effort between the two regions and ensure effective deployment/redeployment of employees;

               · Possess strong organizational skills;

               · Have effective oral and written communication skills; and

               · Is self-motivated, able to work with minimum supervision and able to work well with others.

               · Attractive benefit package is available.

The local Parkway Co-Op has recently constructed a new grocery store which is conveniently located next to their gas station.  Both locations often have various job openings, check out their link to see if something is the right fit for you: Parkway Co-Op.

Other potential employers, such as Wendell Estate Honey Farm, often use sights such as Workopolis, Monster and Indeed as well as the website of the Regional Employment Center  located in Russell, MB.  Check out the employment center's facebook page for other opportunities in the area.
